I am so sorry that this world has lost the beautiful Friedrun. I did not know her for as long as I would have liked, but her genuine warmth and gentleness made a big difference in my world. She always listened attentively and was so supportive, understanding and compassionate. And funny. I enjoyed her quiet subtle humour and loved that little twinkle in her eye. I could tell she understood that being so far from home was difficult for me and that she wished to make it better as best she could. I wish I had more time to know her but she has left an indelible impression on me and I am grateful for that. She truly was a lovely person. I am so sorry for her loss and my heart goes out to her beloved husband, her sons and brother and all those who held her dear.
